Zapier to code: reliable workflow automation at scale
We replaced their Zapier sprawl with a custom workflow orchestration system on Inngest and Trigger.dev — typed events, retries with exponential backoff, full observability — running their lead routing, CRM sync, and customer ops on a single reliable backbone.
Every workflow has a typed input, a documented retry policy, and a Sentry alert hook. The 2am pages stopped within the first month.
