Embedded chat application that replaced a third-party tool and unified communications inside an existing mission management platform.

The team was paying for and context-switching to Rocket Chat for operational comms, which slowed coordination during time-sensitive missions and added a recurring license cost.
Leadership wanted communications to live inside their existing mission management board — the same pane of glass as operational data — without adding another tool to maintain.

One pane of glass for ops and comms
We designed and implemented a custom chat application directly inside the Mission Management Board, with Mattermost as the backend. The integration eliminated the third-party dependency and put messaging in the same workspace as operational data.
Operators stayed where the work was. Coordination got faster because the conversation lived next to the mission, not in another tab.
